In the autumn climate - represented by the element metal - the elements fire and water are particularly needed, as the solidified metal becomes mobile through the warmth of the fire and can then support the element water in rebalancing the strength of the metal gained through the autumn via drainage (nourishment cycle of the 5 phases of change).
Observing the phases of change leads us to the perfect autumn fragrance for the metal element. On a "metal in autumn" day, a fragrance made from litsea, benzoin and cedar oils is the perfect support to get or stay in balance. These fragrances activate the nourishing cycle of the 5 transformation phases. Litsea (element fire) transmits the Qi to benzoin (element earth), which activates the element metal, while cedar (element water) can be used to drain the Qi and thus balance it.

When mixing essential oils, there is another point that should definitely be taken into account. Not every aroma can be mixed with every aroma. And so there are special tips on which oils mix well. Autumn fragrance of litsea, benzoin & cedar oils
An autumn fragrance made from Litsea, Benzoin & Cedar oils is very easy to make. If you are new to the world of fragrances, you will need the essential oils litsea, benzoin and cedar as well as a bowl of water to diffuse the fragrance in the room.Â
A fragrance lamp with a candle shortens the time it takes for the essential oil to evaporate. There are also electric room nebulizers that support the distribution of the fragrance in the room. However, a simple bowl of warm water is enough to get you started.
Recipe
- 2 drops of Litsea oil
- 2 drops of benzoin oil
- 2 drops of cedar oil
- Warm water
Application
We need a bowl of warm water. Then add the essential oils and enjoy the fragrance experience. Quick & easy and can be repeated as often as you like the scent.
