Derivation
In the summer climate - represented by the element fire - the element water is needed in particular, as water dries up due to the extreme heat. Water, in turn, is needed to cool down the heat. Water therefore plays a particularly important role in the summer climate.
Birch essential oil
Birch essential oil is associated with the element of water. The scent is minty and spicy.
Different fatty oils can be used as a carrier oil for diluting the essential oil, depending on the skin type. We use coconut oil as the carrier oil in this recipe. You can also find alternative carrier oils in the → Aromatrix.
Massage oil from birch essential oil
Birch oil can be used to cleanse the body from the inside out. It supports drainage from the kidneys to the skin and restores the flow of Qi in the meridian system of the bladder and kidneys.
Recipe
- 2-4 drops of birch (essential oil)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil (carrier oil)
Application
Add the essential oil to the carrier oil and stir. If you prefer to use an odorless carrier oil, you can use this instead of the coconut oil. Allow to warm in the hand and massage in slowly. Well suited for legs and back and on the meridian point G25 to support the kidneys.
The massage stimulates the circulation and promotes detoxification.
