28 Moon stations - what are they?
That sounds like astrology! But we are dealing with climatology.
So why 28 stations on the moon?
Much of the content of the Tongshu is intended as a kind of orientation framework or game for a society, family or circle of friends. The lunar stations are used to determine whether a day is generally favorable or unfavorable with regard to aspects of everyday life.Â
This is because each lunar station represents an earthly day, represented by the appearance of the moon, so that a cycle of 28 days is created.Â

Da der Mond aber auch einen großen Einfluss auf die Erde hat, wie z.B. Gezeiten von Ebbe und Flut etc. kann dieser Aspekt genauso klimatisch betrachtet werden, wie auch folgender Sachverhalt deutlich macht: Der Mond stabilisiert die Erdachse. Gäbe es ihn nicht, geriete die Erdachse alle paar Millionen Jahre kräftig ins Trudeln, with devastating effects on the climate.Â
The existence of the 28 stations of the moon has been known since the 5th century BC and contains detailed information about each station. These are a kind of code of conduct and predictions as to which areas of life could be difficult. The language of the rules is ancient and adapted to a rural population, which is why the recommendations can only be understood metaphorically and must be transferred to our modern society in order to be properly understood.
At this point, however, I would also like to emphasize that the forecasts should be seen more as a game than a rule and that fanatical adherence to them cannot be beneficial!

The filled circle symbol in black means unfavorable, the circle with a white filling is favorable and the circle with a black inner circle is neutral.
