Derivation

Scalp itching can be caused by a variety of factors. In addition to incorrect hair care, such as frequent hair washing with aggressive detergents that dry out the scalp, the climate or incorrect diet, allergies, pathogens or medication can also be the cause of annoying itchy scalp.
In order to include as many possible triggers as possible, we create a hair tonic that includes all 5 elements and, in addition to hair and scalp care, prevents hair loss, counteracts inflammation and relieves itching.

Blend of essential oils

When mixing essential oils, there is another point that should be considered. Not every aroma can be mixed with every aroma. And so there are special tips on which oils mix well.

However, this aspect plays a subordinate role in our hair tonic, as it is primarily the effect of the essences rather than the fragrance that should provide relief.

However, if you want your hair tonic to have a harmonious aroma, you can refine the fragrance combination. Simply use our → Aroma mixer.

Essential oil hair tonic against itchy scalp

To make our hair tonic for itchy scalp, we mix the essential oils in the nourishing cycle of the 5 elements in cosmetic base water or alternatively undenatured alcohol (ethyl alcohol) and distilled water.

Fill a container with 150 ml of distilled water, which corresponds to the element water. Then add the essential oils. We start with the element wood with Roman chamomile and move on to the element fire with ylang-ylang. Add cosmetic base water, which is based on alcohol and is assigned to the element of fire. After the element of fire comes the element of earth with thyme, then the element of metal with clary sage and tea tree oil and finally we add the element of water with birch essential oil. In this way, one element nourishes the next and strengthens the Qi and thus the effect.

Alternatively, the amount of distilled water can also be supplemented with hydrolates such as witch hazel water. However, each hydrolate is also assigned to different elements so that the sequence can vary.
