The concept of the 3 entities
In traditional Chinese science and philosophy, there are various concepts, such as the 3 entities, which play an important role and shape ideas about the world and the universe.
In the Chinese view of the universe, everything is connected to everything else. Man is at the center. In order to shape their lives in a favorable way, they can make the most of the potential of the heavens and the existence of the earth through their active actions.
The following three active forces / entities influence us:
- the Heavenly Qi (Tian),
- the human qi (Ren) and
- the earth qi (Di).

3 Entities in Feng Shui
For example, in Feng Shui (Chinese geomancy), three levels (heaven, human and earth) are considered in order to harmonize the life energy (Qi). Various analysis techniques are available to answer all questions.
Two schools emerged in ancient China: the Form School (Xing Shi Pai) and the Compass School (Li Qi Pai), which primarily analyzed the Heaven and Earth Qi. Another approach to analyzing human qi emerged with the Bazi Suanming.
