Preparation

  1. Soak 200 g dried azuki beans in plenty of cold water overnight
  2. Pour away the soaking water and wash the beans thoroughly
  3. Water: Put the beans in a pot with 1 liter of cold salted water
  4. Wood: chop 2 tomatoes
  5. Fire: add 1 pinch of rose paprika and turmeric
  6. Soil: Add currants and olive oil
  7. Metal: Grate the chili, allspice and cumin in a mortar and add, add finely chopped onion and garlic and grated ginger and simmer the dish over a low heat for 1.5 hours
  8. Metal: finely chop the fresh parsley and fold into the beans with the cooked rice
  9. Earth: stir in plenty of pine nuts at the end
