Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Soak 200 g dried large white beans in plenty of cold water overnight
  2. Pour away the soaking water and wash the beans thoroughly
  3. Water: Put the beans in a pot with 5 cups of cold salted water
  4. Wood: chop 5 tomatoes
  5. Fire: add 1 pinch of rose bell pepper and sage leaves
  6. Soil: add a little cane sugar and olive oil
  7. Metal: add finely chopped onion, 2 whole garlic cloves, 4 whole peppercorns, 2 bay leaves, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme and simmer the dish over a low heat for 1-2 hours
  8. Once the beans are soft, remove ingredients such as bay leaves and peppercorns
